What do California, Wisconsin, and New Jersey have in common? They're three of the states with the highest income taxes in the US. These taxes comes on top of the already high income tax that is way above what most people from developing countries pay. Let's add to that the fact that USA and Eritrea are the only countries that use a citizenship based taxation system. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_taxation

A Large Part of Your Taxes Goes To Fund Military

I've seen reports from different years saying that 40% - 69% of your taxes are spent on military which is spending a lot of time distabilizing countries, making threats to sovereign nations and all sorts of murderous activities. Then some more goes to spy on you and collect data from silicon valley companies.

It'd be stupid to get caught doing something illegal. But I do consider that every person has a moral responsibility to pay as little taxes as legally possible especially they are living in USA.

Sort:

Kalifornia not only has really high income taxes, they also have a high sales tax, property tax and fees.

Kalifornia also has people that have an openness of mind. So you can build innovative companies here.

So, if you are an innovator, what do you do? Where should one live?

Well, the answer is to get the hell out of Kalifornia because earthquakes and sea storms are going to get wicked. Those weird ass wild-house-fires are nothing compared to what is coming.

Anyway, i prefer the plan of make a lot of money somewhere then buy a house (for cash) and retire somewhere else.

If that seems like a problem, you better not investigate how they use taxes, because you will need an aspirin.
