Understanding The Obvious And looking Deep Into the Clichés

Cliches are memes that have stood the test of time. Though we dismiss their importance, many of them contain our culture's most profound truths.

What I have to add is how people thought of slavery before the abolition of it. Surely one of the primary arguments was the economic impact of it. Slaves contributed to a large part of the economy. So without them wouldn't everything collapse. this might look some stupid statements in this day and age.

We have different mad theories these days. Minimum wage and excessive regulations is one of them. If government doesn't do it cooperates would take over. If governments doesn't do it people would die poor and hungry. Who is even going to build the roads? etc.

Governments do do it and people still die poor and hungry everyday.

There is truth to any story. Look at stereotypes... people at the moment are so set against them but there is always a truth at the beginning. There is a reason for every stereotype and for every cliche as they all have a basis in truth. I'm irish and we do love potatoes and drink! Not everybody but enough to give the impression that it's part of being irish.
