"Those who see their lives as spoiled and wasted crave equality and fraternity more than they do freedom. If they clamor for freedom, it is but freedom to establish equality and uniformity. The passion for equality is partly a passion for anonymity: to be one thread of the many which make up a tunic; one thread not distinguishable from the others. No one can then point us out, measure us against others and expose our inferiority." —Eric Hoffer

Coming across this article is basically the coolest thing happened to me today. It's written by The President of the Foundation for Economic Education who is also the author of Real Heroes: Incredible True Stories of Courage, Character, and Convictionand Excuse Me, Professor: Challenging the Myths of Progressivism. I came across Eric Hofferdurin my wandering through Wikipedia and wrote two times about him on STEEM:

I've had many of these beautiful coincidences in my life. Here I describe another one of them:

Give all four articles a good read. You'd have a great time.
