To me, there are two very distinct groups of men.
And it might boil down to the type of guy who gets women, and the type of guy who doesn't.
Anyway, you have a type of guy that loves interaction, extroverts, who have the need to talk to people, especially girls. This type tend to find sex dolls creepy.
Then you have the guys who are often in their heads. The geeks, the nerds, the D&D players. This type has the imagination to ... ummm, make the doll come alive. And these guys tend to fall in love with their wifus. 2D or 3D.
I think there is other groupings omitted, but i feel this is where one of the major lines is drawn.
People can solve any problem if they want.
