Whitey Herzog: Hall of Fame Cardinals, Royals manager suffers stroke
Whitey Herzog is a hall of fame manager. He managed the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals.
Herzog suffered a mild stroke at a charity gold tournament. He is said to be resting comfortably.
He is 87 years old.
During his managing career, he won three pennants with the Cardinals including the 1982 World Series with a win over the Milwaukee Brewers.
