TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey’s legislative leaders say a vote to legalize recreational cannabis they penciled in for late October 2018 now appears unlikely.
How complicated can it really be? Maybe one of their questions is whether they want to beat NY to the punch or not. I feel like it's nearly inevitable that both New York and New Jersey will legalize cannabis for adult use, but they're both sort of walking on egg shells at the moment. I almost wonder if it's a situation in which one of the involved simply needs to go first, allowing the rest to fall into line.

Legalizing Marijuana is a trend... I think bot NYC and New Jersey will follow suit... it´s just a matter of time.
I cannot believe this is still debated in the United States. Prohibition was proved not to work some 90 years ago.
Fortunately a few states are catching on.
