Navdeep Saini has come a long way. Once he wished to meet players like Virat and Sehwag when they were coming to play a Ranji match for Delhi. He wasn't allowed by the security personnel to get close to the Delhi stars, but he vowed to come back.

The next time they were there he set up quickly to arrange a uniform and a pair of shoes for himself to let the security think of him as a net bowler. He was lucky that Delhi were missing a few of them because of the change in venue. So, lucky Saini, got a go ahead and bowled to some of the best players of Delhi.

He impressed one and all and soon in 2013-14 he played for Delhi and it's no looking back from then on. He bowled first over for RCB captained by Virat Kohli and he delivered goods throughout the tournament.

He said that he enjoyed and learnt a lot bowling to players like Kohli and De Villiers. He made his debut today and he performed exceptionally well to get 3 of the Windies wickets. He has got pace and he bowls in good areas as well. He's a great prospect for Indian cricket and he will try to make most of whatever chances he gets.
