Watch: Bulls with the best alley-oop of the NBA season
As a lifelong Chicago Bulls fan, there hasn't been a lot to be bragging about. We've had some pretty bad seasons the last few years. So it's nice to see the Bulls get a little bit of positive publicity. I was watching the game and this play was outstanding. One of my favorite players for his consistent hustle, Ryan Arcidiacono, made an astonishing dive to save the ball from going out of bounds. He lobbed the ball while flat on his face on the floor to Otto Porter Jr. Then Porter passed to Zach LaVine. Vincent Frank said about the dunk: "The end result might have been the best alley-oop of the NBA season."
The Bulls finally have shown some promise toward after the All Star break. They actually won 5 out of 6 games, something that's been unheard of for far too long. Otto Porter Jr has been a good addition to the team. And center Robin Lopez has been playing the best b'ball I've seen him play since he's been with the Bulls. I don't know where he's been hiding these new moves and agility, but I hope he continues the trend. He was actually the lead scorer at the end of the 1st quarter, with 15 point - more than either LaVine or Markkanen, the two powerhouses of the team.
The recent game with Atlanta Hawks, that went into FOUR overtimes periods was very exciting and they won that game, as well as this game tonight. Tonight's game also ended in a last second win for the Bulls, 108-107 with LaVine putting up 39 points.
