Today I learned that when J.R.R. Tolkien's son, Michael, signed up for the British army, he listed his father's occupation as "Wizard"

It shows two admirable sides of his character
I hope the army had a sense of humor as well!
he was not far off there... he was a wizard with words and his imagination conjured up that magical world
In the right hands a pen is better than a wand!
