One thing I do agree with Shannon about: There has been a narrative (and I've seen it on many comments pages) that LeBron, or the Lakers, need all these stars to win a ring. Meanwhile, it's been the Clippers who have been accumulating stars. They now have at least 5 players who can score 20+ points on any given night. Not only that, they have been actively snatching up any player the Lakers have interest in. It's all perfectly fair and legal, but this narrative that LeBron needs all this extra help, while Kawhi doesn't, is rubbish.
