Remember The Sabbath Day

Hello Fellow Steemians!!!
We too can easily become high-strung and anxious about life. That’s why we need spiritual renewal and physical relaxation. God, our Creator, knows us much better than we know ourselves. So when he commanded that we set aside a day to remember him, he did it for our benefit.

“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
Exodus 20:8-11
New International Version

You can’t go wrong by keeping this command. But overlooking it can damage your spiritual and physical well-being.
Pray It!
Ask God to reenergize you. Make time this week to focus more intently on him, his power, and his healing. Be still long enough to hear his voice. Be blessed and keep on smiling whenever and wherever you are. Have a great night everyone! God bless us all and again thank you for your time.🙂

The Sabbath was part of the Jewish Law. There's no reason to follow it anymore.

@barncat if there is no reason to follow the Sabbath any more than Jesus made a rather retarded statement in Matthew 24 when he said

And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
Matthew 24:20 NKJV

Seems your statement about the Sabbath contradicts what Jesus says. I'm not a betting man but it I had to bet I would bet you are wrong and Jesus is right.
