Stocks mostly rise on Chinese report, US-China trade deal
Global stock markets mostly rose a positive economic report from China, last week’s long-awaited U.S.-Chinese trade deal, and greater optimism about Britain.Wall Street looked to open higher as London, Frankfurt and Shanghai advanced and Tokyo and Hong Kong declined.China reported Industrial production rose 6.2% from a year earlier, up from the previous month’s 4.7%. Retail sales growth rose to a five-month high of 8% from October’s 7.2%.
