Massive Wave Rolling through the Perseus Galaxy Cluster

This article was posted on 2nd May, 2017 which revealed the discovery of a massive wave of hot gas moving through the Perseus galaxy cluster. An international team of scientists was engaged on this project which helps to discover this massive hot gas using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory with radio observation. They collected the data received by Chandra X-ray Observatory and combined with computer simulations which revealed the image of a giant wave of hot gas which is two times the size of our own Milky Way galaxy.
