Abell 1033: To Boldly Go into Colliding Galaxy Clusters | NASA

Thousands of galaxies in space combine together and create galaxy clusters which hold multi-million-degree gas within it. The optical telescope is not able to capture the image of this superheated gas. It requires X-ray telescope to study this largest objects. NASA has X-ray telescope called Chandra X-ray Observatory to study this type of gas.
