Report: Amazon wants robots that can do the work of warehouse pickers
The report comes less than two weeks after Amazon announced it was raising its minimum wage.

That man is such a hypocrite. Telling everyone else they should be raising their minimum wage while, himself, displacing workers altogether. He also cut employee benefits, by the way. That guy is shady as all get out.
Everybody wants robots, mostly for dirt jobs, but the question is who will robots remove...
Well, they want to remove some of human workforce, what if the software of these robots failed! The union will not be happy about this innovatiion.
This trend is only going to get worse. There are more and more uses for robotics and AI that will lead to unemployment for many of societies lower paid workers. Warehousing and logistics is a big area employing many people that will see a rise in automation and less human workers.
