Activist Peter Krykant charged

Peter Krykant has been working with injecting drug users in the city since September.

The former addict is campaigning for a change in the law to allow the legal consumption of drugs such as heroin and cocaine.

Mr Krykant has said the current laws force people to inject in squalid conditions in alleyways, closes and waste ground.

He has now been charged after police attended a drug consumption van in Glasgow.
