There are more and more Tether alternatives popping up all the time.  I think this is a good think for the stability of the markets.  The alternatives are more regulated and have the evidence of fiat USD reserves to back them up.  This week has shown us rumours spreading due to question marks around Tether can have a significant impact on the markets.
