I am not sure how true are they manipulating search results. Some people uses SEO, but Google can do something to manipulate things. In fact, we don't even know who's behind such tactics. Google had some actions which loses their credibilit.

It's time we should use other search engines like presearch.org where they don't store your search terms and give you crypto as reward for search using there search engine. Off courses we cannot completely avoid google as it is integrated deeply in our lives via web, phone, computer, social media...... It is difficult but shouldn't be impossible.
