Commentary: 4 attractive investment opportunities during a recession

In this article the author takes us through some of the possible scenarios in the event of a recession that would present themselves as investment opportunities.

He is assuming the investor has sufficient liquid cash to take advantage of these opportunities. If the investor has not planned well prior to the recession he may find himself in a cash tight situation, thus denying him the opportunities presented.

Traditionally one of the asset classes recommended by investment experts as recession proof investment is gold. Recently when the Iranian general was killed, there was rally on gold and bitcoin. In fact Bitcoin did better than gold in this situation. Perhaps, bitcoin is another emerging recession proof asset the investors would consider from hereon. .
