The Acoustical Society of America (ASA) has awarded an honorable mention to pupils from the Angeles City Science High School (ACSHS) for their research entitled “Hibla.” It was at the 2019 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF).

The event was held in Phoenix, Arizona from May 12 to 17, wherein the students placed 4th over 1,840 research projects from participants of 84 nations.
Comprising the team were E’van Relle Matic Tongol, Neil David Cortez Cayanan, and Shaira Castro Gozun.
