Just like in school, absenteeism is a common issue in the House of Congress. These lawmakers tend to schedule their meetings with their constituents or official trips on some bill hearings that they deemed not important or totally they are not in support with.
But this news is really positive. As stated by House Deputy Speaker Neptali Gonzales II , he is very happy that attendance for the 18th , led by Speaker Cayetano is really high compared to pass congress.
A good development, and a good sense of statemanship from the members of the 18 Congress.
