Yes, it's food again,  but food in Thailand is intrinsic to every facet of culture and society. A standard greeting in Thai is "Have you eaten yet?".

 

There is food on every street and alley and its actually much cheaper to buy food than to buy the ingredients to cook your own in most cases.

 

One of the most common and cheapest meals is noodle soup, in this case with 'luchin' meatballs and its always served with fresh leaves and beanshoots and water and ice to drink. Just  $1 a bowl and there are stalls selling 24 hours a day.

 

Onnthe table are bowls of chilli, salt, sugar and crushed peanuts and you add these to suit your own personal preferences.

 

Like cooking for yourself but not, or same same but different as they say in Thailand!
