Its 5.30am and an early rising motorcycle taxi driver has just spotted his first fare.

 

Motorcycle taxis are not for the faint-hearted but are an important final leg for many peoples journeys, especially the morning and evening commute.

 

Taxi stands are numerous and found at strategic points at the end of local streets and at the entrance to villages.
