The sudden retirement of Andrew Luck has caused a number of ramifications throughout the organization.
One of those to benefit is back up quarterback Jacoby Brissett. The team showed confidence in him as their starter by signing him to an extension.
The deal is for two years and is worth $30 million. Of that, $20 million is guaranteed.
This is a much smaller amount than Luck was making which will help the team with the salary cap going forward.
