Carmelo Anthony is going to be back in the NBA.
The superstar is signing a non-guaranteed contract with the Portland Trailblazers. The team had a need at power forward due to injuries.
Melo is one of the most prolific scorers of his generation. However, the game changed more three point shooting putting added emphasis on defense. This is not Melo's forte, something that was exposed last season in Houston.
Anthony is out almost a year. What he has left in the tank remains to be seen. It is sad to see the game move past such a great player but it happens.
