There are many who feel that reduced work time equates to greater productivity. A company in Australia is taking this to heart by banning work on Wednesdays. The idea is to retain employees better.

I was my own boss as an American English Teacher in Vietnam. I prefer being in control of when I work and when I don't, how much I make, when, where, how, and everything. No Work Wednesdays sounds nice but could be potentially counterproductive.
