Jesus is the Prince of Peace; He gives us joy amidst troubles and difficulties. His peace passes all understanding. He will guard our heart and mind amidst troubles when our hope is anchored on the Rock. The hope we have in Him is as sure as the rising and the setting of the sun!

The verse you quoted has nothing to do with a person being confused. It had to do with multiple people speaking in tongues at the same time.
If you want help from God you need to be born again. You need to repent of your sins and accept what Jesus said on the cross as payment for those sins. You need to accept Jesus as your Lord.
You need to do the best you can to live a holy life. Which means, among other things, that you can't have sex outside of marriage. Or with a person of the same sex.
To become a mature Christian you need to read your Bible regularly, go to church regularly, pray regularly, and grow in obedience. And most people need to be Christians for decades. You seldom find spiritual maturity among the young.
God can give you peace even in the midst of difficult trials. When I'm having difficulties I listen to Bible based Christian music and Bible podcasts like Thru the Bible. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.
