Don’t Measure Your Progress Using Someone Else’s Ruler

The Bible says it is unwise to compare ourselves with one another. Only compare yourself to Jesus to maintain true humility. We must use God’s Word and His standards given in His Word. For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. - 2 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV)
