The person whose delight is in the law of the Lord... is like a tree planted by the streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.
But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither---whatever they do prospers
Psalm 1:2-3 NIV
The more we delight in God's presence, the more fruitful we are. On the other hand, the more we allow those who ridicule God to affect our thoughts and attitude, the more we separate ourselves from our source of nourishment. God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.

There's no need to meditate on the Jewish law and it's 613 commands. Love God above all things and your neighbor as yourself.
Sorry @barncat, you just contradicted yourself. Loving God and loving your neighbor are a part of the 613 "Jewish laws" you just told people to ignore. Derp!
I delight in the law of the Lord because it is a transcript of his character, and the basis of his kingdom. "Great peace have they that love thy law, nothing shall offend them." Psalm 119:165. Ever wonder why there are so many offended people in this generation?
