The Team USA at the FIBA World Cup is not star powered. It would be difficult for them to win considering European teams are difficult to beat. They lost from France and Serbia from recent games.

It's not that Kobe Bryant is saying that the current team is poorly picked. It is a sign that he recognized the strength of other teams.
