The electric car business is really taking off. Seeing Dyson enter the mix only adds to the buildup.
It seems the traditional car companies are behind the times.
I think you confuse electric cars with autonomous cars.
Electric will still need a driver.
I think there is no mention if there will be R&D work on the electric car that will be conducted in Singapore as i will have hoped. I think it will be good for Singapore if there are more R&D work that is done in Singapore.
However, I hope that manufacturing of electric cars will take off in Singapore as it will show that it is still possible to manufacture in high cost Singapore and it may also provide confidence for start up with ideas to make complex systems in Singapore.
