Many workers and union reps have been jailed, pending trial, after complaining about working conditions on Istanbul's new airport project.

 

At least 30 workers have died constructing Istanbul's new giant airport.

    I wonder about the reason why those workers died. Overwork? Not sufficient safety devices? Whatever, lives shouldn't be compromised just to build a giant airport, or whatever for that matter.
