We grew up in an era where phrases like "Cash is King," "Cash Cow," and "Hard Cash" were used to imply the invincibility of cash. 

Jay Dalio of Bridgewater Associates just said, "Cash is trash." 

Well not really, if cryptocurrencies are going to replace fiat. Cryptos would then be the new cash. To be precise, hard cash.
