RE: Romelu Lukaku transfer from Manchester United to Inter: Talks underway between the two clubs | Goal.com - Wasn't Lukaku Fit For Man U?

in #dlike5 years ago

Hell no!!! I beg to differ. Lukaku has not had the best service, that cannot be denied, but he is not fit enough for United both tactically and physically. The man has no touch. While that is not a prerequisite to being a striker it is massive in the way Solskjaer wants to play.

Technical players are a massive advantage. Look at Aguero. Lukaku is basically a passenger in the team since he cannot make any chances for himself.

On his fitness, last season he always looked out of breath and in one occasion managed to trip over the ball injuring his ankle.

Mourinho could have won the league if it wasn't for Guardiola. However, the man was only building a team that could win now, the future be damned. He was going after aged players who could only give one or two years before they were no longer good enough including going after the injury prone Bayern Munich defender, Boateng.

Solskjaer may be going after young and inexperienced youth but that is a foundation and there is a future. We won't win anything much in the next few years but I can guarantee we are building a very good team.

:) :)

Beautifully said; with hopes that Man U can let one coach stay
