JUMPING SPYDER

Salticidae or jumping spider is a spider family consisting of more than 5,000 species in 530 genera or about 13% of all spider species that make Salticidae as the largest spider family.

Some Salticidae species have the best vision among arthropods and use them in mating, hunting and navigation. Although they usually move quietly and fairly slowly, most species are able to jump very agile, especially when hunting, or sometimes in response to sudden threats. Their lungs and trachea systems develop well and they use both systems (bimodal breathing). The jumping spider is usually identified by its eye arrangement. All jumping spiders have four pairs of eyes with one pair in particular being their large median anterior eye.

I do not like spiders...but I admit I find this one to be beautiful.

In SA we have a jumping spider which is extremely venomous and if it bites, you will lose a serious amount of flesh, so, beautiful or not, I'm keeping my distance

(Despite not liking spiders, I wrote a story about adopting a spider...a long time ago)

I found your shared video extremely interesting
Congratulations on a good post @daraaicinyu .
