The Tip Issue

Almost everyone here has once ordered Food online and some Middle man service like DoorDash, UberEats and many more have delivered your Food from the Restaurant to your Home. This is a service that is currently booming a lot but there are a lot of practices being done that are not so healthy. For instance there is an option to Tip the Delivery Guy in the App itself which should mean that the Delivery Boy gets a Tip from the customer directly and there should be no cut taken by their Employer but in some cases it has been seen that the Tip that the delivery Boy receives from the Customer via the App is added with his Salary. This means if the Delivery Boy has a Salary of 100 USD per month and he received a total Tip of 15 USD in the month he still gets 100 USD Salary instead of 115 USD.

Now it seems DoorDash is coming out in the open and ensuring their Customers that the Tips they provide to the Delivery Boys will be received by them properly and I believe it is high time they did just that as this was just not looking good for any Brand if they want to prosper in Future.
