What happens if you remove those files from your folder? If they are removed from the cloud, then what is the benefit?

If they are not removed, I presume there then is a safe way for you to remove files you no loger want?

When it becomes a paid service, then our free ride is over?

    It's on the blockchain, files shouldn't be removed without your key. I'll will try it and see how it works.

    Good questions.

    Their website says it's free only for one year.

    Datum Storage gives you one free terabyte of space for the first year, but soon you'll be able to add as much additional storage as you need. Pay just US$3.99 per terabyte per month.

      Thank you for taking the trouble to reply - you would be amazed how many on Steemit (and similar platforms) no longer believe in courtesy....but then, you are from Portugal (from your name I thought otherwise)

        I think that's one of the main problems in this site. Most people post but they rarely go around leaving comments on other people's posts. The lack of interaction is beyond ridiculous.
