I have always admired these fantastic jars that you see in home decor stores and craft stores. I have recently learned the official name for these beautiful jars... Apothecary Jars

The history of Apothecary Jars
Apothecaries were people who ran pharmacies, prescribed and practice medicine and even made house calls back in the colonial time. Apothecary jars were used to hold pharmaceutical items, such as talcum.
Apothecary jars have a long history in the world. These useful items have been used by people around the world for centuries to store a wide variety of items. They can come in various sizes, styles, models, and made from a wide variety of different materials. Apothecary jars can hold basic household essentials such as herbs and soaps, or if they are clear then they can be filled with decorative items and displayed.

Titled make your own apothecary jars... I was intrigued. So off I went to the dollar to begin my hunt for materials to make my own jars.

I came across these fantastic glass bowls for $2 each

Once I got these home I searched around my house for some glass candlesticks lying around and look what I found, in my box of unopened/unused inherited silver I found this great silver candlestick holder, but could not find the pair to it :(

So I took the risk and added some super glue to the top

and placed the glass jar on top of it... This is how it turned out :)

I was Hoping to find the pair to this candlestick holder, but had no luck. But I knew this jar needed a pair so I went in search of one at craft store, I came across this inexpensive candle holder for $8.00
