How to Keep Dog Off Couch

My dog thinks shes smart by waiting till i fall asleep, then going downstairs and sleeps on my couch eventhough she has a noice doggy bed right there -____- so i decided to make something to keep her off the couch, well scare the crap outa her if she gets close to it anyways.

Let me tell you, it works, if i forget that its on, it scares me too lol.

This is a better alternative then using a shock pad, so theres that. but then again im putting to much faith in this system that its not gonna burn my house down. well i used it all night and it hasnt already.
