Thank you very much. Working with pallets requires a lot of creativity. Every piece is a unique. Thanks for stopping by, sorry for the late reply. Cheers!!

Great project, we use all raised wood boxes for our veggies too. So much easier then being on your knees to pull weeds and harvest

Just that extra little lift helps out a ton. We have crab grass that invades the boxes and raising them up is the best solution. Plus this box made out of pallets was dang near free.

Very cool! There is so much possible with the pallets. Love how you figure it out on the go! We made an vertical strawberry pallet, but that was well planned out at the start haha.

I have seen some stuff people have created but not much. We used a pallet to grow cucumbers once. Didn’t have to alter it in anyway. Just like each pocket with some sort of draining fabric and fill with dirt. Then wrap the outside with chicken wire for the cucumbers to grow up. Simple cheap and best of all.... easy.

Hey @jlsplatts, awesome work. You might be creating a new market brother because these designs are wicked nice. How much time does the process take per box? Keep doing awesome things bro.

It took about 2 hours from start to finish. From coming up with some random idea then adapting to that idea as we went along.
“Crap, That isn’t going to work, But we can do this..” there was lots of that going on.
I figure once we find a specific design we like, we can reduce the time significantly. These are just the first few we came up with so I am really curious what we can bring to the table next.
Thanks for stopping by

Awesome man. I’ve always wanted to make some chairs out of pallets and this was the motivation I needed to get going. Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea.

I have seen people make lots of outdoor furniture using whole pallets and no breaking them apart. Then just buying cushions and placing them on top. I am brainstorming in idea to build some sort of kid size chairs.

Love the idea of re-purposing the pallets. The planter boxes came out really cool. Takes a lot of dirt to fill one of those things, especially a box for growing carrots as they need a lot of depth to grow. Right tool for the job is the only way to go.

I love your vision and your drive...........way to be!

Sensational article. Upcycling is a under rated art in this modern world.
