We Put the Portable Entry Deck on the New Tiny House - Big Island Hawaii

In order to put the portable entry deck on the Tiny House we needed to make some legs.

We took two of the Ohia branches we had and cut them to 2 foot lengths. We then debarked them and sanded them. We just wanted to get it kind of smooth. We then sealed it with deck sealer.

We screwed the thick branches into the bottom of the deck and now it is stable. We put more deck sealer on the deck and it is good to go. The problem is that it is high as the house rests on the trailer.

We went back to our old Tiny House and got some of the scrap 2 x 4s that came from the old railings. We cut them up and made a small platform to help us step up to the deck.

Everything is temporary as we still have to jack the Tiny House up so the tires don't get flat.
