Offgrid Gardening in Hawaii - Our Next Crop of Lettuce

We have been having a problem getting our Lettuce to sprout. We are not sure what the problem is as we are using the same seeds in the same soil.

Some times the sprout and others they do not.

We are thinking that something could be eating the seeds but we are not sure.

The Lettuce and the Mizuna crops are the staples of our salads and thus are a big part of our diet.

We rarely buy Lettuce from the market and only do when something goes wrong with our crops.

Hopefully these will grow to full size.
