Offgrid Gardening in Hawaii - Going to Build a New Garden

We are going to try and build a garden at our new Tiny House (we are going to call it our Tiny Tiny House from now on as it is no longer new).

We are going to build it using lava rocks from around the property. It is going to be like a raised bed.

We don't have the exact location but it is going to be close to water source.

We are going to plant Lettuce and a Moringa tree.

It seems so much hotter at our Tiny Tiny House at times but it also is cooler at times when the wind comes off the water as the house is much closer to the ocean.

The downside to that is that the salt from the water gets over everything.
