DIY - Working on Our New Tiny House - Big Island Hawaii
Well yesterday was interesting as we attempted to get the solar working. We almost had everything hooked up then we found that the kit we purchased did not have enough wires. The timing was perfect as it started to rain so we drove 10 miles to Ace Hardware to pick up some wire.
We were able to paint our tiny solar shed and finish that up.
We also finally jacked up and leveled the house. That was an adventure because this lot, unlike out other one has a lot of crushed lava rock so we did not get down to bedrock.
Once we leveled it the house is 7 inches higher than before and thus we have to fix the removable front deck as now the supporting legs are way off the ground.
Hopefully we will finish these today.
