DIY Woodworking - Carving a Ohia Chopstick Holder - Big Island of Hawaii

We started to carve out a Chopstick Holder that we are going to give as a gift.

We started by cutting the piece to size with the chop saw that you can see on the right side of the picture.

We took an Ohia branch and used the electric grinder to shape the piece.

Once we shaped it we used our Forstner bit make the hole in the middle.

Once that was done it was a lot of sanding. We will show you the final piece once we finish sanding it.
