DIY - Offgrid Gardening - The Last Crop from our Plot - Big Island Hawaii

This is the last Cucumber from our plot as both the Cucumber and Cherry Tomato plants are dying. There are a lot of Cherry Tomatoes. We picked a bunch of them to eat for dinner last night and they were delicious. We also pickled the Cucumber Japanese style and had that for dinner as well.

This plot has served us well feeding us every time we came up and also giving us food to take back home to Honolulu when we had to leave our Tiny House.

We are going to harvest all the Tomatoes today when the sun comes up and prepare the ground for another planting. We are going to take a look at how we can redesign the irrigation system to make it more reliable.

We love living this way. It is so rewarding. We wish we could spend less time in the office and more time in the ocean and working the land.
