Offgrid Living in Hawaii - Fish on the Line

It has been very hot lately with no rain.

We went fishing late in the afternoon and there were no clouds in the sky.

In this picture the fish hit hard and then dove into the rocks.

Now it is a waiting game. We just have to wait until the fish makes a move. It is a 50 / 50 scenario as sometimes the line wraps on a coral head.

This time the fish came out and the fight continued but ended up getting away because the line got frayed and then cut.

We did not get any keepers yesterday.
