Welcome to another episode of cooking with the dog.

Today we are making homemade waffles from scratch.

Before we start it is very important to make sure your paws are good and clean. So make sure you lick every inch including under your nails. Be patient because this could take a little while.

Now your paws are clean and ready let's begin.

Open the fridge with your snout so your paws stay clean and pull out two under developed chickens still in their protective shell. Carefully crack one open and let it drop into your mixing container. Then grab the second one crack it open and watch it slide down the sink drain because you were not fast enough to get it to your bowl. Repeat the first step to get another one out of the fridge.

Beat those chickens until they scream for mercy then beat them some more.

Now add 1 3/4 cups of moo juice (milk)
(Hopefully there isn't any moo left in it)

Mix well. Now you have a preclucking moo.

Next add 2 cups pulverized wheat (flour)
1 table spoon sugar
1/2 cup veggie blood (oil)
4 teaspoon expanding material (baking powder)
And as an added kick if so desired 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Mix until smooth while cussing at all the lumps being defiant and not wanting to blend.

Now your batter is ready to be tortured on the hot iron.

Heat waffle iron and once it's hot enough to burn your paw pour some batter onto the iron being absolutely sure to dribble some across the top to give you something to clean up later.

Now also remember to pour more batter than you need so it squeezes out of the sides and makes a lovely mess to give yourself even more to clean up later after your belly is good and full.

Once the light goes out on the iron you can open the top and remove your delicious creation all the while admiring the creative mess you just made.

Now you may enjoy your homemade breakfast with whatever topping you prefer. I like mine with butter and maple syrup.
