Awesome looking lamp

Now this one is not a tutorial. This lamp was already made by my mother and I wanted to share it with you guys.

This was made with a old lampshade that was the bare wire only then we spun rope around the wire of the entire thing (more on why later). After that was done we took a lot of small beads and thread it onto small wires until it was long enough to pass one section of the lampshade then spun it around the lampshade wire. The reason why we spun rope around the bare wire is to create a space where the wire with the beads on can be spun around , it acts like a track.

We first tied the wire that had the beads on into a knot but realised that the knot comes loose so we soldered it and it is solid now .The base of the lamp I think is self explanatory but just ask if you want to know. I think this is one of the most amazing looking DIY lamps out there but maybe I am a bit biased :-).
