can I just use aluminum foil? But Seriously- did you place a metal or foil panel on the wall inside the house - on the other side of the where the meter is installed?
Aluminum foil would work but you may need to get creative to secure it to the meter. I didn't put any shielding inside my house because the metal housing of the meter already blocks the RF. The problem with shielding the back of the meter is that the RF will just go around the side so if you don't want to wrap your house in shielding then the best alternative is to reduce it from the source.
